STING'S RED EAGLE
CRHA 4600-P / ApHC 523103
April 16, 1993 - September
26, 2012
"Eagle" has been our senior stallion and was the center of our breeding program. He has
produced the most exceptional disposition. The word 'versatile' is used today by every
breeder around, but this horse has truly fit the definition of the word. He exceled in driving,
english and western pleasure, costume, was the most enjoyable trail horse and was no slouch
when it came to jumping or game classes. Eagle also produced 100% color on all types of
mares. We owned his sire, Welcome Sting, for 20 years until his untimely death in 1996.
Since then, Eagle has continued his sire's legacy, producing beautiful and talented horses.
Our sudden loss of Sting's Red Eagle in late September was devastating to us. The Colorado
Ranger Horse Association has also lost one of it's premier breeding stallions. We are
expecting Eagle's last 2 foals in late April 2013, bringing the number of registered foals he
has sired to 60.
At this time, we are planning to stand a son of Eagle starting this spring.
More info on him will be forthcoming.
